Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines celebrates after defeating Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico in their WBO welterweight boxing championship bout. Pacquiao made history by becoming the first fighter to win seven world titles in as many weight classes with a stunning 12th round technical knockout of Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao looked unstoppable for the third consecutive fight, knocking Cotto down twice in the early rounds Saturday before putting the finishing touches on in the 12th round to claim Cotto's World Boxing Organization welterweight title.

Too damn good. Cotto was good, but no match for Manny's power and speed. Next up? Probably Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bring it!

I hope the Phillies hand the Yankees their asses in the World Series.

Proud of the Angels, though it is heartbreaking.

But I will now focus my whole attention to the Lakers, with the regular season just around the corner.

When morbid curiosity becomes stalker status...

Busy day. I've been displaced from my house because of fumigation, so I'm at my sister's place for a couple days. So after this mornings move and last minute rushing, I didn't get to take pictures, so this starts around lunch time.

I had one of those realistic dreams again...you know the ones where you wake up and you think for a split second that it was all real. You are probably all gonna laugh at me because of this one, but from what I remember, I was in Robert Pattinson's AND Kristen Stewart's hotel room hanging out with them. Then all of a sudden in the middle of our conversation (which I don't remember what it was about), Rob blurts out "Oh yeah, I'm effing Kristen" in which I look over to her and she doesn't deny it with that sly smile on her face. I think my face looked like this: O_O hehe, but I had the feeling that I wasn't surprised. Then Rob comes out in sweats and an iPod saying he was gonna go for a jog. And that's all I remember. Pretty weird and random huh? Hey, don't laugh...I can't help what I dream right? And as a side note: I don't ship real people. If these two are really getting together, then by all means let them. It's their life...and whatever floats their boat, right?

I usual don't remember what I dream about, but when they feel this realistic it's easier to remember bits and parts of it. The biggest tease of a dream I had was that I was at a Laker game (if you don't know already, I'm a HUGE Laker fan) sitting in COURT SIDE SEATS...talking and sitting beside Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio (yum). I remember having my camera and taking a bunch of pictures, including one of my feet (I had sneakers on hehe) against the purple and yellow Laker home floor. So when I woke up, I immediately wanted to take a look at my camera to see the pictures I took. Then reality came crashing down and that made me mad LOL. I dunno, I guess I'm just weird :P

ETA: Off topic but I just found out that Lupe Fiasco has a bonus track on the New Moon soundtrack...weird and not what I expected, but I guess it's cool because I like him.

If you are unfamiliar with Kogi BBQ, it's basically what you call a "taco truck" or a catering truck that sells tacos and burritos with Korean barbeque in them. Also comes in spicy bbq chicken and spicy pork. They go all around LA and sometimes venture out into the OC. They've become such a hit that the lines for this thing get's crazy long. This is a little late but....I had an AWESOME time at the No Doubt concert. I hurt my ankle 2 days prior and it was still sore the day of, but with all the excitement I hardly felt the pain jumping up and down lol. I also almost lost my voice from yelling and singing, especially when she mentioned the city of Anaheim (my cousin actually used to live two streets down from Beacon St.) and Loara High School, which is where I went for HS also. We kicked off the night with happy hour and dinner at Yard House in Irvine Spectrum for our friend Jackie's birthday, Gummy Bear shots and Stella Artois all around. Then got to the Verizon Amphitheater, picked up our club tour tickets, met some friends just inside the venue, and made it in time for the last couple songs from Paramore. The No Doubt set list went like this:

I just caught up from last night's True Blood and yeah....whoa...great episode! Things are heating up!

But I just gotta say that Maryann is an effing freak!!! She's nutso!

P.S. NO DOUBT CONCERT TONIGHT!!!

Nope, didn't go to Comic Con this year. I'm kinda glad I didn't, just to stay away from the crazy crazy fans and the crowds and the screaming, though I did miss some good times with friends that did go. I was thinking about going this year, but by the time I was gonna get tickets, they had sold out already. And it seemed like it sold out real fast, earlier, than last year.

Speaking of Comic Con, I saw the 2 clips from the New Moon movie and I am very, very, very, happy they kept the "You're sort of beautiful" line in there. From a leaked early script draft I read, it said something like "You look kinda good" or some shit like that. I'm fucking glad they didn't butcher the "sort of beautiful" line. And did I mention that KStew and Taylor are adorable when interviewing together? Oh, and I really can't believe it, but Summit has replaced Rachelle Lefevre with Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria!!! I hate recasting and I think it's all a bunch of BS that they replaced R.L.

Last Friday, I went down to Sunset Beach to get my very first tattoo. Not gonna lie, it hurt, and I winced a few times, but it was tolerable. I got it just on the inside of my right inner forearm. It's the Philippine Sun and Stars sitting in a star outline of the Sampaguita flower (national flower of the Philippines). I'm planning on going back to get a little bit more work done. It's gonna be "Ate" (pronounced ah-teh) which means "big sister" or "older sister" in tagalog. Only, it's not gonna be the letters A, T, and E but rather in Baybayin. My two younger sisters got the same tattoo so it's our sister tat, and so I thought that word would be appropriate.

This Friday I'm gonna go see No Doubt in concert! I'm stoked!! I wonder if I can bring my DSLR with me...anyone know? It's also my friend Jackie's birthday, so we're gonna hit up happy hour at Yardhouse for a little pre-celebration before the concert wooot!

Been a bit busy with the freelancing. Doing some work for Lakers Nation and Tarbell. I may be doing some work making invitations and stuff like that for a party planner looking for a graphic artist. I'm also working on my photography portfolio with my new Canon XSi, so keep a lookout for a link...that is, if I remember to post it up here.

Oh, one last thing under the cut. Gloria the funny girl strikes again with the funny makeup tutorials. This time, its the Ganguro look...LOL!!
